Novodiax is a dynamic and innovative in vitro diagnostic (IVD) provider of rapid immunoassays for immunhistochemistry (IHC) and point of care testing (POC). Since 2017, Novodiax has been building a reputation for quality with their novel rapid immunoassay products with their 10 minute rapid IHC under the ihcDirect® brand name. In support of rapid IHC testing, they will be releasing the Q-STAIN® X Autostainer. This device offers many features of more expensive systems but on a small platform. The Q-STAIN X is:
- Convenient – automated system ensures reproducibility.
- Random access – match any slide with a programmed antibody test.
- Flexible – system can flex between IHC, H&E and FFPE frozen tissue testing.
- Fast – complete a run of 10 FFPE tests in approximately one hour.
- 4-5 frozen tissues in 20 minutes and 10 H&E tests in about 6-8 minutes.
- Capacity for up to 5 antibodies and 10 tissue slides per run.
In support of the global pandemic, Novodiax is developing a rapid POC test for the semi-quantitative assessment of neutralizing antibodies to SARS-CoV-2 in human blood, plasma, and serum. The product offers:
